  • RESERVING EQUIPMENT
    The rental items will be secured with an upfront non-refundable $75 deposit once an agreed-upon date, location, and theme are confirmed. The remaining balance is to be paid no later than five (5) days before the party date. This equipment cannot be sub-rented or used by any other party other than that listed above. If you need to reschedule your event, we are happy to do so based on our availability. We require a minimum of 14 days' notice given for requests to change the date of the Slumber Bee. The customer's request can then be granted on the provision that the preferred date is available. Slumber Bee Parties does not issue refunds due to cancellations unless there are extreme weather conditions. However, the deposit is transferable. We can accommodate you by rescheduling your event for a later, available date. Your theme, number of tents, and additional add-ons will be confirmed upon paying the non-refundable deposit. A minimum of two (2) tents is required for a Slumber Bee party. Once confirmed, extra tents and/or other rental items are subject to availability. Rental periods will be discussed during booking. Slumber Bee Parties typically allows for a 24-hour window for drop off and pickup. If additional time is needed, the rental period shall be mutually agreed upon. For day events, the rental price starts at 4 hours. All prices are subject to change; however, prices quoted at the time of booking will always be honored.
  • PAYMENTS
    Payments (deposits and final payments) can be paid via check, Venmo or credit card. Non-refundable deposits shall be made immediately upon booking. Final Payments are due no later than five (5) days before the Slumber Bee event date.
  • SERVICE LOCATIONS & TRAVELING FEES
    Slumber Bee Parties is located out of Chelmsford, MA. Travel fees are based on the standard IRS mileage reimbursement rate of 0.58 per miles driven. All Slumber Bee Parties must be in a residence owned by the renter; or an agreed upon location (such as hotel) with approval from the property and Slumber Bee Parties.
  • DELIVERY & SET UP
    Slumber Bee Parties will strive to accommodate client delivery requests; however, delays and changes in the schedule are sometimes unavoidable. We try to communicate any scheduling changes as they occur. We will work with you to arrange a time for both delivery and/or collection of rental tent and other items. If you are not present at the agreed upon times for the setup, a late fee of $50 will apply and will be deducted from the deposit. It is the customer/parent/guardian's responsibility to take care of and supervise children with the tents. Diligence must be taken with younger children on the customer's premises. Slumber Bee will not be responsible for any injuries or physical damages due to the use of the teepee/tent or other rental items. Where applicable, Slumber Bee staff members will park as close to your setup area as possible, this often being in your driveway. Team members will always take care when operating a vehicle on your property; however, the customer must ensure pets and children are accounted for during the arrival time of our staff. Customer needs to ensure that the tents and mattresses will fit in the location for the sleepover; all furniture is to be moved prior to Slumber Bee's arrival.
  • SLUMBER BEE PARTY EQUIPMENT
    All Slumber Bee parties must be in smoke-free environments. We reserve the right to forfeit your booking without a refund if we find your property to contain cigarette smoke odor. No refund will be granted in this situation. Slumber Bee Parties requires that floors be clean before our arrival. We reserve the right to forfeit your booking upon arrival to your property if we feel the rental items could be compromised or damaged due to unhygienic living conditions. No refund will be granted in this situation. Slumber Bee parties requires that the designated tent areas be cleared of furniture. Slumber Bee representatives are unable to move furniture. Please measure to make sure you have adequate space for all tents. Assembled dimensions of each tent is approximently 48"H x 48" D x 38" W (width can vary on how wide you need the opening) and the mattresses are 25" x 75". Additional room is needed for breakfast trays, props and any extras. Slumber Bee Parties will pick up the items on a specified date and at a time agreed upon at delivery. If all items are not present, items not returned to Slumber Bee Parties within two (2) business days after the event are considered missing. Missing or damaged/excessively dirty items will be charged to the client at replacement/cleaning cost. A detailed invoice on these items will be provided to the client.
  • LIABILITY
    Slumber Bee Parties will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage to the property caused unless it is proved that such injury was caused by faulty material, quality, or negligence on the part of Slumber Bee Parties.
  • CLEANUP/PREPARATION FOR PICKUP
    Please package all Slumber Bee Parties rental items in the provided bins and bags as delivered. For DIY parties, please place items outside in an agreed-upon place, protected by weather. If the weather is bad (rain, snow etc.) and can damage the equipment, please contact Slumber Bee to either arrange a different date/location for pickup. For the Exclusive package, a Slumber Bee representative will come in and breakdown and pack up the items at an agreed upon time. All items must be present and in the room for pickup; it is the responsibility of the client to ensure all of Slumber Bee's property is in one location - Slumber Bee will pack up and carry out. Customer must be present during this time.
  • MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS
    Slumber Bee Parties will pick up the items on a specified date and at a time agreed upon at delivery. The cleint is responsible to ensure all of Slumber Bee's items are present in the area of pick up. If all items are not present, items not returned to Slumber Bee Parties within two (2) business days after the event are considered missing. Missing or damaged/excessively dirty items will be charged to the client at replacement/cleaning cost. A detailed invoice on these items will be provided to the client.
